if we go deep anatomical in the molecular level.....we'll see its mad up of cells.

cell is itself a mechanism of different metabolism....thousands of reactions occur in the protoplasm of it to keep it in living state.

Now for performing functions its takes and gives materials via its plasma membrane.

In its plasma membrane different protein channels are present to faccilate the tranport of substance acc to their concentratiom gradient....and again this method itself could with or without energy...

so ya movement occurs via pm.....

movement occurs within the cell also called as cyclosis...

movement occurs in the organelles present inside the cell for their own activity....

so all this interactions within themselves occurs to make a system living...
