It is a lifecycle of butterflies/caterpillar which include four stages-

Egg, larva, pupa and butterfly.

  • Life cycle starts with small round shaped eggs. These eggs are very tiny and bright in color.
  • Second stage starts with larva after hatching eggs. In this stage they are called as caterpillar which feeds on plant leaves.
  • Third stage starts with the formation of pupa when caterpillar is done growing, they start forming themselves into pupa where changes occurs.
  • Fourth stage starts with complete formation of adult butterfly after various changes that occurred inside pupa.
