As we know , for two angles to be complementary, their sum must be 90°.

 Two acute angles can be complementary. Since , Acute angles are angles less than 90°. their sum can add upto 90^{0}.

For example 30° and 60° are acute angles. Their sum is 90°, so they are complement to each other.

hence , option  ' a ' is the correct option.
