Pollution is definitely considered as a slow killer because the pollution that is present in air can be anything from smoke to dust dirt or particles of crystallized chemicals that are floating in the air.

Explanation:

  • The air that is present in our surrounding is the one from which we take in is oxygen.
  • The air is inhaled in and the body gets the oxygen from this atmosphere, but when the air is polluted, we can inhale smoke dust dirt and everything along with the air.
  • Some of the pollution causing gas can cause immediate damage while others take time like a slow poison given in small doses which will take its toll after a given amount of time.
