A manual worker needs more fats and carbohydrates because they have more physical labour to do and labour every day without any breaks. If they do not take proper food and go to work, it reduces their capacity to do work instead of being weak, so that labour needs more carbohydrate because it gives the worker the energy to work by generating glucose in his / her body.
