Due to difference in Intermolecular spaces,

Intermolecular forces of attraction,

Explanation:

solids cannot be compressed much.

atoms of solid are highly compressed

they do not feel the container completely

liquids cannot be compressed much

they are not much compressed as compared to solid

they do not fill the container completely

gases can be compressed to some extent

the force of attraction between its atom is very low

they fill the container complete
