Explanation:

LPG is considered to be a better fuel when compared to kerosene because it burns very efficiently and a very little amount of fuel is left unused like that of seen in when compared with kerosene. ... LPG releases less carbon when burnt due to its chemical properties

We use LPG [Liquefied Petroleum Gas] as domestic  fuel for cooking than kerosene because of the following reasons :

  • It is a very neat and clean domestic fuel. It burns with a smokeless flame and hence does not cause pollution.
  • It does not produce any poisonous gases on combustion.
  • LPG is easy to handle and convenient to store.
  • It  does not involve in cutting of tress which can cause deforestation.
  • It can be easily transported through pipes.
  • LPG has high calorific value than kerosene.                                               This are the reasons why LPG is considered better than  kerosene to use as a domestic fuel for cooking.
