Sudden exercise leads to muscular cramps because exercise takes energy and to produce energy oxygen is required and sudden exercise leads to shortage of oxygen due to which insufficient amount of energy is produced leading to muscular cramps.

Muscular cramps occurs when the muscle's contraction and seized up involuntarily.
Sometimes muscular cramps can be very painful and can not be bearable.
