a) Mughals followed the despotic monarchy. King was the head of all organs of government like executive, legislative, judiciary and the army. Nobles and some Ulemas come under autocracy. Though nobles completely owe to the king.
b) The emperor was assisted by ministers to advice in decision making. The three important ministers were Vakil, Wazir/Diwan and Mir Bakshi.
Vakil - Vakil was the representative of king. He is the prime minister of the empire.
Wazir/Diwan - He was the head of revenue department. In the absence of Vakil, he acts as PM.
Mir Bakshi - He was the head of military department.
c) The empire was divided into several provinces for easy adminstration. The provinces were also known as Subas. The head of Subas was governor or Subedar. Subedar was also assisted by other officials to run the government.
