take LCM for 10,500

LCM=5×5×5×2×2×7×3

987/10,500=987/5×5×5×2×2×7×3

=329/5×5×5×2×2×7

=47/5×5×5×2×2

if a number has a denominator as 5 ^n and 2^m it is terminating

2.29/343

take lcm but I can say directly that this rational number will have non terminating decimal expansion
