Answer:

From childhood it would be Lord Rama from Ramayana. He was knowledgeable, humble, benevolent and fearless. In every adversity he faced he embodied tremendous fortitude. Somehow it's incredible his entire journey from the young Prince of Ayodhya to a life in the jungle and finally returning back victorious as a ruler. He had all the qualities of an ideal ruler. Rama embodied the good nature of a human being untouched by external paraphelia and glory. He loved truly, followed rules honourably and fought valiantly. He stayed true to his karma at all times. His love for Sita never diminished even when the law of karma was testing him. I always find this very intriguing. He chose to live his truth with grace and dignity. He ruled to win hearts. Truly wherever he walked the land was blessed. The entire Ramayana is an epic that I remember very frequently only because of my love and devotion to him from the age of 3. He comes to my mind first. Jai Shri Ram! I read the comic as a child and finally read the entire Ramayana (epic) in my late twenties.
