Answer:

Unlike humans, plants are not able to eat food in order to meet their energy needs, instead they have to make their energy by photosynthesis.

Plants make, and store temporary supplies of starch in their leaves, which they use during the night when there is no light available for photosynthesis.

Answer:

the principale way that food is stored in plants is an starch . starch can be found in all stems even the maine trunk . starch can be found in those layers that are many years old as well as those that are stil living. starch grain are found in the chloroplasts of the higher plant and if leaves containing starch are kept in darkness for a moderate amount of time starch grain will disappear .if these sun deprived leaves are exposed to light ,starch reappears in the chloroplasts .starch is the first variable product of photosynthesis .
