2. 20 lakh ballot boxes of metal wire used in first election. waters used to vote by Stamping in front of candidates names and then in the metal box.

3. Electronic voting machines were first used for five states in Madhya Pradesh, 6 seats in New Delhi and five seats in Rajasthan in 1998 in Legislative Assembly.

4. EVMs where used in polling booths in the general election held in 2004. it proved that it is very useful device.

5. It get improving since it's first use.

6. Due to use of EVMs the result declared very earlier and at a very fast rate.
