A) Bakelite - Bakelite is a thermosetting plastic, RETAIN THEIR STRENGTH AND SHAPE EVEN WHEN HEATED. They are used to make switches this tells that they are insulators of electricity. They are also used to make handles for utensils which proves that they are also poor conductor of heat

B) PET - PET is also a thermosetting plastic which has the same properties of Bakelite. Is used to make bottles.

Bakelite ..... It is a thermosetting phenol formaldehyde resin, formed from an elimination reaction of phenol with formaldehyde. It was made in 1907 by Belgian chemist Leo Baekeland. Bakelite was used for its electrically nonconductivity and heat-resistant properties in electrical insulators, radio and telephone casings.
