3.Nostrils ---> pharynx ---> larynx ---> trachea ---> alveoli

The air is taken in the respiratory system via the nostrils in the nasal chamber. The air moves across the different parts of pharynx namely nasopharynx, oropharynx and laryngopharynx, from where it is directed to the larynx. The larynx is placed over the trachea, so air then moves to the trachea or windpipe. From the trachea, it travels through the bronchi, bronchioles and ultimately reaches the alveoli for exchange with blood.

4.Water rise in tall trees because of Transpiration, it is the process which causes movement of water and minerals from roots through xylem up to the top of a tall tree.
