The pollution of water makes difficult for water to support life in rivers and the sea. Man has polluted not only surface water but also groundwater. Water is undoubtedly the most precious resource they exists on our planet. Without the seemingly invaluable compound comprising of Hydrogen and Oxygen, life would be non-existent.
