Answer -:

 \sf \dfrac{3}{x}  =  \dfrac{1}{3}

 \sf 3 =  \dfrac{1}{3}  \times x

 \sf 3 = \dfrac{1x}{3}

 \sf 3 \times 3 = x

 \sf 9 = x

 \sf x = 9

Thus, x = 9.

How to verify?

To verify your answer, just put 9 (The value of x) in place of x and see if the LHS = RHS.

Lets do it!

Putting 9 in place of x, we get -:

 \sf \dfrac{3}{9} = \dfrac{1}{3}

 \sf \dfrac{1}{3} = \dfrac{1}{3}

Reducing  \sf \dfrac{3}{9} , we get  \sf \dfrac{1}{3} , because 3

and 9 are both divisible by 3.

Since LHS = RHS,

Hence verified ✔️✔️
