 = 3(x + 1) +  \frac{5}{2} x - 3 =  \frac{7}{4}  \\ \\  =  3x + 3 +  \frac{5x}{2}  - 3 =  \frac{7}{4}  \\  \\   = \frac{6x + 6 + 5x - 6}{2}  =  \frac{7}{4}  \\ \\  =   \frac{11x}{2}  =  \frac{7}{4}  \\  \\  = 11x =  \frac{7}{2}  \\  \\ =  x =  \frac{7}{22}
