\sf 3(x+1)+\frac{5}{2}x-3=\frac{7}{4}

\sf 3x+3+\frac{5x}{2}-3=\frac{7}{4}

\sf \frac{6x+6+5x-6}{2}=\frac{7}{4}

\sf \frac{11x}{2}=\frac{7}{4}

\sf 11x=\frac{7}{2}

\sf x=\frac{7}{22}
