on cross multiplication
3x^2 = 5 (x + 1)
3x^2 = 5x + 5
3x^2 - 5x - 5 = 0
using quadratic formula
x = -b+√(b^2-4ac)/2a , -b-√(b^2-4ac)/2a
x = 5 + √(25-60)/6 , 5-√(25-60)/6
x = 5 + √(35)/6 , 5-√(35)/6
