Your question is

3(x-10)=2x-10

In first step you will do

3x-30=2x-10

3x-30 because there is a bracket between 3 and x-10 so according to BODMAS rule when we open bracket we should multiply the number.

second step you will do

3x-2x= -10+30

we will cross multiply it

third step you will do

x=20

we will not write(-) sign because 30 is more than-10

so your answer is x=20
