5*3x+3y=7*5

3*5x+9y=8*5

3x+3y=10   --(1st equation)

5x+9y=8     --(2nd equation)

Multiplying 1st equation with 3

9x+9y=30   --(new 1st equation)

5x+9y=8     --(2nd equation)

Subtracting both equations,

4x=22

x = \frac{22}{4} = 5.5

5x+9y=8

5(5.5)+9y=8

27.5+9y=8

9y= - 19.5

y=-2.16
