3(x+2y)=10y+5

=>3x+6y-10y-5=0

=>3x-4y-5=0-------------(1)

2(x+2y)=3x+2

=>2x+4y-3x-2=0

=> -x+4y-2=0

=> -(x-4y+2)=0

=> x-4y+2=0-------------(2)

(1)×1=3x-4y-5=0

(2)×3=3x-12y+6=0

(-) (+) (-)

----------------------------

8y-11=0

=>8y=11

=>y=11/8

putting the value of y in equation (1) we can get

3x-4y-5=0

=>3x-4×11/8-5=0

=>3x-11/2-5=0

=>3x-21/2=0

=>3x=21/2

=>x=21/2×1/3=7/2
