3^x + 3^-x = 2

we Know,
a^-n = 1/aⁿ Use this here,

3^x + 1/3^x = 2

Let 3^x = P
then,
P + 1/P = 2
P² + 1 = 2P
P² - 2P + 1 = 0
(P - 1)² = 0
P = 1
so, 3^x = 1
3^x = 3^0
x = 0

hence, x = 0 is the solution of given equation .
