AnswEr:-

Your Answer Is,

  • x = -1.
  • y = -5.

ExplanaTion:-

Given Equations:-

 \\ \tt\longrightarrow3x - y = 2... \: eq(1). \\  \\ \tt\longrightarrow2x - y = 3... \: eq(2). \\

To Find:-

  • The value of x and y.

Method Used:-

  • Elimination Method.

So Now,

Lets subtract eq(2) from eq(1) to get the value of x.

 \\ \tt\mapsto(3x - y)  -  (2x - y) = 2   -  3. \\  \\ \tt\mapsto3x \: \cancel{ - y} \:   - 2x  \:  \cancel{ +y } =  - 1. \\  \\ \tt\mapsto3x - 2 x= - 1. \\  \\ \tt\mapsto{\underline{\underline { \:  \:  \: x =  - 1. \:  \: }}} \\

By Putting The Value of x in eq(1) we get:-

\tt\mapsto3x - y = 2. \\  \\ \tt\mapsto3( - 1) - y = 2. \\  \\ \tt\mapsto - 3 - y = 2. \\  \\ \tt\mapsto - y = 2 + 3. \\  \\ \tt\mapsto - y = 5. \\  \\ \tt\mapsto{\underline{\underline { \:  \: y =  - 5. \:  \: }}}

Therefore The Required Value Of x and y Are -1 And -5 Respectively.
