 \mathbf{Equation : 3x^{2}  = 2x + 8 } \\  \\  \\  \mathbb{Solution :}

=> 3x² = 2x + 8

=> 3x² - 2x - 8 = 0

=> 3x² - ( 6 - 4 ) x - 8 = 0

=> 3x² - 6x + 4x - 8 = 0

=> 3x( x - 2) + 4( x - 2 ) = 0

=> ( x - 2 ) ( 3x + 4 ) = 0

 \bold{ As \:  their \:  product \:  is \:  equal \:  to  \: 0,so  \: one \:  from  \: the \:  numbers \:  will \:  be  \: 0}

Hence,

x - 2 = 0
x = 2

Or

3x + 4 = 0

x = - 4 / 3
