-x+√3y=6

Then divide the equation on both the sides by 2 to convert it into normal form. The equation will become as

x(—1/2)+y(√3/2)=3

Now this is your equation of the line in normal form. If you compare with the normal form of equation of the line,then length of the perpendicular is 3 units which is inclined at an angle of 2π/3 with the positive X axis.
