3(y-3) = 5(2y+1)

=> 3y - 9 = 10y + 5

=> 3y - 10y = 5 + 9

=> -7y = 14

=> -y = 14/7

=> y =-2

3 ( y - 3 ) = 5 ( 2y + 1 )

3y - 9 = 10y + 5

3y - 10y = 5 + 9

- 7y = 14

y = 7/14

y = - 2
