first multiply the coefficients inside i.e,
3y-5×3/4 = 3-y+3×3/2
3y-15/4 = 12-y/2. ( cross multiply )
2(3y-15) = 4(12-y)
6y-30 = 48-4y. ( send multiples to RHS and variables to LHS )
6y+4y = 48+30
10y = 78
y = 78/10
y = 7.8.
there fore, y value is 7.8
