x =  - 3 \: and \: y \:  =  \frac{ - 7}{12}  \\ we \: have \: to \: verify \: that \: \\  (x + y )= (y + x) \\ ( - 3 +  \frac{ - 7}{12} ) = (   \frac{ - 7}{12}  + - 3 ) \\  - 3 -  \frac{7}{12}  =   \frac{ - 7}{12}  - 3 \\  \\   \frac{ - 43}{12}  = \frac{ - 43}{12}

i \: hope \: this \: is \: helpfull \\ drop \: a \: thanks \: and \: also \: make \: my \:  \\ answer \: as \: brainliest \\ stay \: home \: stay \: safe \:
