"TIGER CONSERVATION"
an article by Rajat Mahesvari.
Does it surprise you or rather shock you all that India, a state once known for its land of beauty and habitat for mighty creatures is loosing its population of tigers.
According to statistics, India once had a populace of 50,000 tigers where as as of now only 1706 are left remaining. Sometimes governments do not understand the difficult with which these creatures exist in such a widely populated country in the first place. And they end up cramming in more people who come up and disturb the habitat of these animals. For the sake of tourism existing and bringing cash in the country through this manner, the animals suffer from multiple tranquilizers per day. For every appearance, and or show they are drugged so that some tourists can end up taking pictures with the poor guys. In this light, some strict actions should be taken by the government before all the tigers of India end up dead.
