Subject: Highlighting the Garbage problem and unsanitary conditions in our area
Dear Sir,
Through this letter, I want to bring to the attention of the general public and the concerned authorities towards the increasing garbage problem and unsanitary conditions near in our area (near Palam Enclave, Delhi 96) since the last couple of weeks. Despite all campaigns and cleanliness drives being undertaken by the Government, the streets are littered with heaps of garbage everywhere. The gutters are overflowing, the roads are filthy and the streets stink due to this issue. The cleaning personnel do not come often and the garbage collection vehicles just pass by without cleaning anything. The situation has worsened due to heavy rains and extreme cold weather. We have written to the local Municipal Corporation, but have not received any help from them on this.
This is our humble request to the authorities to please pay attention to the cleanliness of the area near Palam Enclave and ensure regular cleaning. I shall be greatly obliged if you publish my letter in your column so that it reaches the authorities concerned and steps are taken to solve the problem.
