We can keep our hands immersed in lukewarm water longer than boiling water because boiling water has the latent heat in it.So it is more hot than the other

Lukewarm water is not as hot as boiling water.That's why we can keep our hands immersed in lukewarm water for a much longer time in comparison to putting them in boiling water for same time.
