Step-by-step explanation:

1. (3°)×(5)

By using Exponent law --------------- (a°)= 1

(1)×(5)

5

2. Given: x= 3

p(x)= 3x(4x-5)+3

p(3)= 12x²-15x+3

= 12×(3)²-15×3+3

= 12×9-15×3+3

= 108-45+3

= 111-45

= 66

(ii) Given: x= 2

p(x)= 3x(4x-5)+3

p(2)= 12x²-15x+3

= 12×(2)²-15×2+3

= 12×4-15×2+3

= 48-30+3

= 51-30

= 21

3x(4x−5)+3=12x^2−15x+3

x=3 gives the value 12(9)−15×3+3

                             =108−45+3

                              =66

x=1/2 gives the value 12(1/4)−15×(1/2)+3

                             =3−7.5+3

                              = - 3/2
