Description of parts of a flower:

The parts present in the flower are Stalk, Sepals, Petals, Stamen and Pistil. The description of each part is as follows: Stalk: It is the base on which the flower grows. Sepals: They are green leaf like structure located above the stalk, which protects the flower during its bud stage

Flower

It is a reproductive part of a plant.This will be so attracting and all use this in pooja's etc.

There are two types of flower they are

  • Complete flower

  • Incomplete flower

A complete flower has sepals, petals, stamens and pistil. Various to Incomplete flower it lacks some particles or some of these structures.

Various parts of Flower

  • Sepals - Sepals protect the Rising buds. It is green in colour. Only few flowers will be having fused ones.

  • Petals - This are the attractive and beautiful part of a flower. Petals are always different in colours. Roses have red petals Various Lilly has white petals.

  • Stamen - This structure is a male reproductive part.It is called as Androceium. It has anther and filament.

Stamen has a anther. Anther will be producing and will storing pollens.

Various Filament will be giving some funtions Supporting like thread structures to the anther.

  • Pistil - These structures are female reproductive part.These has style,stigma,ovary

Style - It will be connecting the Stigma and the ovary

Stigma - This the topmost layer and this is called as gynoceium.

Ovary - These is the main point here. This is ductless part of reproduction gland. These holds lots of ovules. From tjis part a seed keeps growing.
