30. Find the ratio in which X- axis divides the line segment joining the points (5,-3) and
5, 4)? Also find the point of intersection.​

two points are

A(5,-3) and B(5,4)

those two points divide the line in x axix

therefore we let the dividing points is

C(x,0)

also let those two point divided in ratio m:n

according to the question

c(x,0)={(5n+5m)/m+n,(-3n+4m)/m+n}

now comparing

0=(-3n+4m)/m+n

or o=-3n+4m

or 4m=3n

or m/n=3/4

or m:n=3:4

answer the line segments joining this point in 3:4 ratio
