Given : Equations :

x - 3y = 8

5x + 3y =10

Ref : https://brainly.in/question/27703523  ( for complete and correct Question)

To Find : Value of x and y

(a) x = 3, y=-3

(b)x= -3, y =

(c) x = -3, y= 3

(d) None of these

Solution:

x - 3y = 8         Eq1

5x + 3y =10      Eq2

Add both the equations

6x  = 18

=> x = 3

Substitute x = 3 in Eq1

=> 3 - 3y  = 8

=> -3y  = 5

=> y = -5/3

x = 3  and  y = - 5/3

None of the given option matches

Hence correct answer is Option d) None of these
