Given : P(x) = AX² + 24

P(4) = 8

To Find : P (-4)

Solution:

P(x) = AX² + 24

P(4) = 8

=> A(4)² + 24 = 8

=> 16A + 24 = 8

=> 2A  + 3  = 1

=> 2A = - 2

=> A = - 1

P(x) = - x²  + 24

P(-4) = - (-4)² + 24

=> P(-4) = -16 + 24

=> P(-4) = 8
