Given:-

secθ+tanθ=p

Step-by-step explanation:-

secθ+tanθ=p → (1)

secθ-tanθ=1/p   → (2)        [∵sec²θ-tan²θ=1]

Add (1) and (2)

2secθ=p+1/p

2/cosθ=(p²+1)/p

cosθ=2p/(p²+1)

Also, sin²θ+cos²θ=1

 sin²θ=1-4p²/(p²+1)²

 sin²θ=[(p²+1)²-4p²]/(p²+1)²

 sin²θ=(p²-1)²/(p²+1)²

 ∴cosecθ=(p²+1)/(p²-1)                      [cosecθ=1/sinθ]
