Answer:

Milk to Water

3 : 4

Milk + Water = 3 + 4 = 7

So milk is 3/7 x 63 = 27 litres, and

Water is 4/7 x 63 = 36 litres

Let additional Water required be A for

New ratio required 4 : 7

Total water = 36 + A

Milk Water in new Ratio = 4 : 7

27 / 4 = (36 + A) / 7

A = 27 x 7 / 4 - 36

= 47.25 - 36 = 11.25 litres

Water required is 7/11 x 27
