The ratio of bigger number to smaller number is 1:-1.

  • Let the two numbers be a and b.
  • According to the given condition, 30% of the sum of two numbers is equal to 40% of the difference between them.

0.3(a+b) = 0.4(a-b)

0.1a + 0.1b = 0

a:b = 1: -1

  • As the above ratio is greater , it is ratio of bigger number to smaller number.
