1. ( a) log{ 43/30 base 1.43333333....)
43/30 = 1.433333333....
hence ,
we can write in log
log { 43/30 base 43/30} = 1
(b ) (1/2)^log(5 base 2)
= 2^-{ log(5 base 2 }
= 2^ { log5^-1 base 2 }
= 1/5
2) 4^log( 2x base 2 ) = 36
4 ^log ( 2x base 4^1/2 ) = 36
4^ { 2 log ( 2x base 4 ) } = 36
4^log(4x² base 4 ) = 36
4x² = 36
x= ±3
but for log to be defined x >0
so, x ≠ -3
x = 3 ( answer )
