There are various methods to solve this question. You can differentiate the whole equation and then take dy/dx common, and so on. But that method is a bit lengthy, and time taking. Here's a different method:
dy/dx = -(Partial differentiation w.r.t. x)/(Partial differentiation w.r.t. y)
In partial differentiation, we take all the other variables as constant. For eg. say you are partial differentiating w.r.t. x, you then take y to be a constant, and differentiate it to become zero.
