Answer:

680 steps in one round

Step-by-step explanation:

side of square = 85 m

perimeter of square = s*4

                                  = 85*4

                                  = 340 m

1 m = 100 cm

340 m = 340*100

          = 34000 cm

one step = 50 cm

total number of step  = 34000/50

= 680 steps in one round

Given:

Sides of square of garden = 85 cm .

To Find :

If she covers 50 cm in one step . How many steps will she take to run once round the garden ?

Solution :

Step 1 : We will find perimeter of garden

 = > 85 \times 4 = 340

So, the perimeter of garden is 340m.

So, as we know shaloo runs along the sides of a square garden.

And we know , she covers 50cm in one step.

she covers 1 cm in steps

 =  \frac{1}{50}

So, the total steps which we have to find is

 = \frac{340}{0.5} = 340 \times 2 = 680

Hence, She will take 680 steps  to run once round the garden.
