1)Fission: There two types are:-
a)Binary fission: Division or splitting of one cell into two. e.g: Amoeba.
b)Multiple fission: Division or splitting of one cell into many. e.g: Plasmodium.
2)Budding: A new organism develops from an outgrowth or bud. e.g: Yeast.
3)Spore formation: Parent plant generates thousands of spores which individually grow in a plant. e.g: Mucor.
4)Fragmentation: A fragment of the parent breaks off and develops into an entirely new but genetically identical individual. There is no regenerative cells present as such. e.g: Spirogyra.
5)Regeneration: The regrowth of a damaged or missing organ part from the remaining tissue. There have specialized regenerative cells. e.g: Planaria.
6)Vegetative propagation: There are two types are:-
a)Natural: This occurs when plants grow and develop naturally without any human interference. By root, stem, leaves. e.g: Dry Deciduous Forests.
b)Artificial: The deliberate production of new plants from parts of old plants by humans. By cutting, grafting, layering. e.g: Rose.
