300 apples are distributed among A,B and C in such a way thats three times of the number recieved by A may be equal to four times of B and nine times that of C.then number of apple recieved by B is

A+ B + C = 300
3A = 4B, or B = 3/4B
3A = 9C, or C = A
Substitute the know values of B & C into the top equation
A + B + C = 300
A+3/4A+1/3A = 300
Add
25/12A = 300
Multiply each side by 12/25
A = 144
If A is 144, then B is 3/4*144 or 108
If A is 144, then C is 1/3 *144 or 48
144 + 108 + 48 = 300 apples
