Answer:

The answer is number of 1 Rupee coins = 100

                        number of 50 paise coins = 80

                        number of 25 paise coins = 120

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that 300 coins consists 1 Rupee, 50 paise, and 25 paise

the ratio of their values  = 10: 4: 3

here 10, 4, 3 are the values of 1 Rupee, 50 paise, and 25 paise coins

⇒ number of 1 Rupee coins in 10 Rupees =  10 coins

⇒ number of 50 paise coins in 4 Rupees = 8 coins   [∵8 × 50 paise = 4Rs]

⇒ number of 25 paise coins in 3 Rupees =12 coins [∵12×25 paise = 3 Rs ]

Therefore, Ratio of the number of coins =  10:8:12

                                                                  =  5: 4: 6   [ divided by 2 ]

Let 5x, 4x and 6x be the number of coins [∵ they are in 5:4:6 ratio ]

from given data 5x + 4x + 6x = 300

                                         15x = 300

                                             x = 20

number of 1 Rupee coins = 5(20) = 100

number of 50 paise coins = 4(20) = 80

number of 25 paise coins = 6(20) = 120
