300 g of sugar solution has 40% sugar in it.How much sugar be added to make it 50% in solution

Sugar present in 300g = 40%

                                      = 40*300/100 = 120 g

We want to make 50% sugar so,

10% of 300 must be added = 30 g

Hence, 30 g of sugar must be added
