₹300 is divided between A and B in such a way that A gets half of B. Find: the ratio between the shares of A and B.

Hey mate....

A gets half of B means that if A gets x rs. then b must get 2x

From here u can form an equation...

i.e x+2x=300

3x=300

and x=100

which means, A gets 100 Rs. and B gets 200Rs

so ratio btwnn their share is 1:2
