Let no. of students be x
and one student received y marbles
We are given,
xy = 300
so x= 300/y ................................................................(1)
and, (x+10)(y-1) = 300
By Eqn. (1)
(300/y+10)(y-1) = 300
(300+10y/y) (y-1) = 300
So, y = -5, 6
so x= 300/y = 300/6 = 50
so, no. of students = 50
and no of marbles each student get = 6
